Myeik University Myeik College was founded on 8 January 1999. It was  upgraded to Myeik Degree College on 27 November 2001.  Myeik University On 14 May 2003. Our 85-acre campus is located five kilometres from the centre of Myeik, Taninthayi District, Lower Myanmar. Myeik has abundant natural resources and over 810 islands.

Myeik University was opened With the aim of providing young people and Tanintharyi Region with access to higher education at a lower cost. Myeik University is headed by the rector, Dr Win Win Than.
